Performance Applications Now Open for the 2015 Columbus Arts Festival

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Performance applications for musicians, theatre and dance troupes are now available for the Columbus Arts Festival, which will take place June 12, 13 and 14, 2015 along the Scioto Mile at the beautiful Downtown Riverfront. The Columbus Arts Festival is produced by the Greater Columbus Arts Council.
The Columbus Arts Festival, produced by the Greater Columbus Arts Council, will celebrate its 54th year of bringing the best in fine art and fine craft to Columbus. The Festival hosts hundreds of juried artists from across the United States including local emerging artists and a few international artists each year. Gourmet food and beverages, hands-on art activities for the entire family, live music, spoken word, dance and more round out Columbus’ favorite outdoor, welcome to summer event. Approximately 450,000 visitors attend the Festival each year.
The Festival is currently accepting applications for performers to fill dozens of slots on the ABC 6 Main Stage, Dance Stage and several other venues at the festival during the three-day event. Strolling performers will perform in designated areas throughout the Festival site.

Deadline for music performance applications is Saturday, February 7, 2015.
Deadline for danceand theatre applications is Saturday, February 14, 2015.
Festival Hours: Friday, June 12 and Saturday, June 13 from 11 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. and Sunday, June 14 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
