Columbus, OH—Fashion-savvy shoppers on the lookout for signature pieces know that the Columbus Arts Festival presented by Time Warner Cable June 1, 2, and 3 at the Downtown Riverfront is the perfect place to find finely crafted, one-of-a-kind, wearable works of art.
Nearly 40 local and national artists specializing in jewelry, leather and fabric designs will offer an eclectic assortment of apparel and accessories at a variety of prices ranges at this year’s Festival.
Searching for that perfect statement necklace? The sculptural jewelry pieces by E. Douglas Wunder of Iowa City, IA, will fit the bill. Wunder’s works feature abstract geometric shapes inspired by natural and technological objects, and are constructed with titanium and other mixed metals such as gold and silver.
Festival goers should also look to Columbus’ own Courtney Yoakum, who specializes in beautiful hand-painted ceramic jewelry. Or for something out of the ordinary, check out the stunning tops and jackets constructed of hand-dyed silk by Leah Dziewit of Maple City, MI that are popular with many art fair-goers throughout the Midwest!
Interested in eco-conscious couture? Then don’t miss stopping by to see the work of E. Moises Diaz of Austin, TX featuring one-of-a-kind creations that incorporate antique pieces into each wearable leather design.
Festival Hours: Friday, June 1 and Saturday, June 2 from 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Sunday, June 3 from 11:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.
