COLUMBUS, Ohio – The 2012 Columbus Arts Festival, presented by Time Warner Cable and produced by the Greater Columbus Arts Council will kick off the festival season by bringing the best in fine art and fine craft to the newly revitalized downtown Riverfront, June 1, 2 & 3. The Columbus Arts Festival is consistently rated as one of the top festivals in the nation and each year hosts hundreds of juried artists from across the United States, as well as a few international artists. Music, poetry and community performances, hands on arts activities for all ages, arts demonstrations by local artists, exhibitions of local student artwork and quality food and beverages round out Columbus’ favorite outdoor summer event.
For the second year, the Columbus Arts Festival will offer VIP Packages that feature all weekend passes to an exclusive VIP Lounge sponsored by GRID Furnishings providing members an oasis in the beautiful, shady courtyard of the Cultural Arts Center, located at the corner of Main St. and Civic Center Dr. The VIP Lounge will feature special live music performances, a private cash bar, a festival t-shirt, free parking, comfortable seating, private restrooms and free water and snacks provided byColumbus Brewing Company and other amenities.
Those who purchase VIP Packages will receive an invitation to the exclusive Columbus Arts Festival Patron Party—the place to be downtown on Friday night of the festival weekend! The Patron Party takes place at the Columbia Gas building from 5:30-8 p.m.—offering spectacular views of the Festival site from the outdoor balcony.
The Columbus Arts Festival VIP Package will make the perfect gift for business clients or family and friends visiting Columbus during the Festival weekend.
Those who purchase the VIP Package will receive more than a $200 value for just $75! VIP Packages will be sold prior to and during the festival. Individual packages are $75. VIP Lounge hours are Friday, June 1 from 5-10 p.m., Saturday, June 2 from 11:30 a.m. – 10 p.m. and Sunday, June 3 from 11:30 a.m. – 10 p.m. Voucher for t-shirt will be provided to be redeemed at Souvenir tents. Food will be available during specific hours each day.
