Performance Applications Now Open for the 2017 Columbus Arts Festival

COLUMBUS, Ohio — The nationally acclaimed Columbus Arts Festival is now accepting performing artist applications in music, dance and theater. The 56th annual festival will take place June 9, 10 and 11, 2017 along the Columbus downtown riverfront.

The Festival hosts hundreds of juried artists from across the United States including local emerging artists and a few international artists each year. Gourmet food and beverages, hands-on art activities for the entire family, live music, spoken word, dance and more round out Columbus’ favorite outdoor, welcome to summer event.  Approximately 450,000 visitors attend the Festival each year.

The Festival is currently accepting applications for performers to fill dozens of slots on the ABC 6 Main Stage, Club Sharkey’s, the Acoustic Lounge, the Dance/Theater Stage and several other venues at the festival during the three-day event.  Strolling performers will perform throughout the Festival site.

Deadline for applications is Feb. 15, 2017.

Festival Hours: Friday, June 9 from 11 a.m. to 10:30 p.m., Saturday, June 10 from 10 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. and Sunday, June 11 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. (Please note: on Friday and Saturday artist booths close at 9 p.m.)
