Neal McCoy to perform at Columbus Arts Festival

Columbus, Ohio—Multi-platinum country recording artist Neal McCoy will headline the Columbus Arts Festival Friday night, June 12 at 9 p.m at the ABC6 Main Stage, presented by Worthington Industries.

McCoy has three platinum albums, one gold, and 25 charted singles.   He was inducted into the Texas Country Music Hall of Fame in 2009 and has twice been recognized as Entertainer of the Year (TNN/Music City News).  He has performed on 15 USO tours since 2001 and together, with his wife, Melinda, founded the East Texas Angel Network (ETAN), to provide financial assistance to families with children suffering from serious illnesses.  The Network has raised over $7 million since its inception.

Throughout the weekend a wide variety of local and regional bands will take the ABC6 Main Stage in Bicentennial Park located along the Scioto Mile in the central district of downtown surrounded by breathtaking water features and two stunning bridges. The complete performance schedule will be announced April 15.

The Festival will also feature five additional performance stages including the Franklinton Stage—a mix of theatre and music, a Jazz Club, an Acoustic Lounge, a Dance Stage and the Ohio Magazine Word is Art stage, spotlighting some of Columbus’ most talented spoken word poets and authors.

Festival Hours:  Friday, June 12 and Saturday, June 13 from 11 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. and Sunday, June 14 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
