Columbus, Ohio–Don’t want to drive to the Columbus Arts Festival? It’s easy to get there by bus with the Central Ohio Transit Authority (COTA).
Celebrating our 53rd festival at the Downtown Riverfront, the 2014 Columbus Arts Festival, June 6, 7 & 8, will feature fine art and fine craft from more than 280 juried local and national artists, along with continuous live entertainment, gourmet food and hands-on art activities for all ages. Each year, approximately 450,000 people attend the Festival, which has become the city’s welcome to summer event.
Festival patrons can explore the best routes to get to the Columbus Arts Festival at COTA.com. Local fare is $2, or buy a Day Pass for $4.50. Cash only accepted on the buses, and drivers do not make change.
Once you’re Downtown, you can also catch the CBUS. This free Downtown circulator service travels from the Brewery District, through Downtown, to the Short North Arts District and back again. It’s free. It’s easy. Catch the CBUS. This ride’s on us. For more information visit COTA.com.
In addition to providing transportation to the central Ohio region, COTA is also providing commuters with arts experiences that we hope you will enjoy as you travel by bus to the Festival. COTA is partnering with the Greater Columbus Arts Council to help spread the word about the Festival. Look for the more than 350 Art Shark placards installed in buses throughout the city. The Art Shark is the Columbus Arts Festival’s official mascot.
Festival Hours: Friday, June 6 and Saturday, June 7 from 11 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. and Sunday, June 8 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
