Help Spread the Word with Social Media!
Connect with the Columbus Arts Festival through social media! Like us on Facebook and join us on Twitter!
We’ll keep you up to speed regarding news and contests going on before and during the Festival. We’ll send messages out on the hour through Twitter all Festival weekend, June 1, 2 & 3, to keep you posted about all of the special events going in conjunction with our BIG move back to the downtown Riverfront!
Joining our social networks is one of the easiest ways to show your support for the Columbus Arts Festival. Spread the word about our latest news and share our sites with your friends!
And speaking of celebrating and sharing, we’d like to hear from you! We’ve heard so many stories over the years about why the Columbus Arts Festival is one of community’s favorite summer events. Couples have gotten engaged; poets, musicians and artists have performed or shown their work for the first time at the Arts Festival; others love the event so much that they travel from near and far to enjoy the unique fine art and craft for sale, as well as great food and entertainment—as part of their family vacation.
Post your stories and photos on our Facebook fan page so we can share with Festival-goers at our GCAC tent throughout the Columbus Arts Festival weekend!
Take part in our #tweetandgoseek scavenger hunt during the event!
Local artist and originator of the idea, Matthew Richard Barnes (aka misterbarnes) will create 150 4” x 4” collages containing a restaurant or Columbus Arts Festival food vendor gift certificate code, or other product offer on the back. Each piece of art will be hidden somewhere on site at the Festival. A picture of each collage and clues to its location are then sent out via @misterbarnes/@ColumbusTAGS account on Twitter and re-tweeted by the Greater Columbus Arts Council from @GCAC_Cols. The first person to find the art redeems the featured offer at the GCAC Information Booth on site at the Festival or at the restaurant or vendor presenting the offer. Follow @misterbarnes or search #tweetandgoseek on Twitter to participate. Be sure to sign up early—the scavenger hunt will start on June 1 before the Festival with gift certificates for participating local restaurants hidden throughout downtown.
