2014 Columbus Arts Festival to Showcase More than 100 Works of Art by Local Students and Community Members

Columbus, Ohio – Be the first to discover the next generation of great artists!  Organized by the Festival Coordinating Committee, the Ohio Alliance for Arts Education and local arts educators, this exhibition showcases more than 100 works by students from 27 Central Ohio area schools and an art studio/gallery that support individuals with developmental disabilities.

Participating community groups and schools include:  Creative Foundations –studio/gallery, A+ Arts Academy, Amanda Clearcreek High School, Berkshire Middle School, Big Walnut Elementary, Bloom-Carroll High School, Calumet Christian School, Central Crossing, Circleville high School, Columbus Scioto 6-12, Dublin Coffman, Encore Academy, Franklin County Children Services, Harvest Preparatory School, London High School, Pickerington Central, Rosemore Middle School, St. Charles Preparatory School, St. Joseph Montessori School, St. Matthew School, Star Academy of Toledo, The Arts and College Prep Academy (ACPA), The Schoenbaum Family Center at Weinland Park, Watkins Memorial High School, Wedgewood Middle School, Whitehall-Yearling High School, William V. Fisher Catholic High School and Willis C. Adams Middle School.

Festival Hours:  Friday, June 6 and Saturday, June 7 from 11 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. and Sunday, June 8 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
