Application for 2022

Thank you for your interest in joining our organization.

We are a nonprofit organization made up of volunteers dedicated to staging the Columbus Arts Festival, a three-day festival dedicated to the celebration of the arts in Columbus, raising funds to support arts programs of the Greater Columbus Arts Council.

We welcome candidates for membership, who are willing and able to diligently give their time to promoting and producing the region’s finest arts festival.

As a new member you should anticipate spending 40-60 hours per year on committee work, mostly during the last few weeks of spring each year.

Before applying, please note that we expect you will make this a long-term commitment and that, if accepted as a member, you will be required to:

• Participate in several assignments throughout the year
• Attend committee meetings (held the first Mon. of every other month from November through May; meetings required for all members) as well as a final planning meeting in late May
• Work at the festival which starts the weekend after the Memorial Tournament

In addition, it is hoped you will:

• Participate in the work of the other committees who may need additional personnel from time to time
• Support Columbus Arts Festival membership activities

Unfortunately, we cannot represent that applying assures membership, as there are more applicants than openings each year.

Criteria for Membership

• Reputation for integrity, reliability, dependability, commitment and dedication
• Ability to devote the time and effort to perform the designated task at the time required
• Ability to be free to work on setup day (June 9) as well as at the festival (June 10 – June 12)
• Interest in volunteering/commitment to community service
